The MSMP Comprehensive Exam or an equivalent must be passed prior to graduation. The Comprehensive Exam must be taken in accordance with RVU Office of Testing policies and procedures. One remediation attempt is permitted for the Comprehensive Exam, and any remediation attempt must be completed within the degree-completion deadline set forth in the Graduation Requirements. The MSMP Program Director may grant one additional remediation attempt in cases of documented extenuating circumstances, such as illness or personal emergency. Failure to pass the Comprehensive Exam will result in dismissal from the MSMP Program.
This requirement may be substituted with an:
- earned passing score on COMLEX Level 1 or USMLE Step 1
- qualifying score on the COMSAE or COMAT-FBS at or above the minimum score established by the Dean of MCOM or designee
