The DNAP program is a 36-month, full time, 109 semester credit hour degree program leading to a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree. All courses are taken as a cohort, sequentially.

The DNAP program has published this handbook to inform students of policies, procedures, and services available. To ensure a quality educational experience, both on campus and in clinical settings, students should become familiar with the contents of this handbook and be able to use it as a resource. In all matters of program or University discipline, students have the right to be first notified of alleged infractions and will have an opportunity to be heard as such. The University Student Conduct system and appeals processes are designed to provide and help maintain an atmosphere within the University community that is conducive to academic pursuits. Serious disciplinary action against a student, such as separation, is considered and invoked only when other options fail to meet the needs of the University’s mission.
