MED 4500: Overview of Medicine

This course is designed to provide the student with support to prepare independently to take the COMLEX Level 2. Eight credit hours of MED 4500 may be awarded toward graduation if the student had not completed MED 3500 Medical Knowledge Application in their OMS III year. If MED 3500 was completed, 4-credit hours of MED 4500 may be awarded toward graduation.

Prerequisites

Clinical Education Department approval required. Successful completion of OMSIII core, required, and selective clinical clerkships. For COMLEX Level 2, the student must be in good academic and professional standing by RVU-COM definitions.
