Master of Science in Human Anatomy

The Master of Science in Human Anatomy is a rigorous graduate program designed for students currently enrolled in the D.O. program who have also been accepted into the Anatomy Fellows program and who are seeking advanced training in the structural and functional organization of the human body. Rooted in comprehensive anatomical sciences, the program blends intensive coursework with hands‑on laboratory experience.

Students engage deeply with gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, and embryology through cadaveric dissection, microscopic analysis, and integrative study of human form and function. Emphasis is placed on developing a sophisticated understanding of anatomical relationships, clinical correlations, and the foundational knowledge required for teaching or pursuing further professional study.

The curriculum also cultivates skills in scientific communication, pedagogy, and research methodology. Students will have several opportunities to serve as teaching assistants in anatomy labs, collaborate on faculty research, or complete a capstone or thesis project tailored to individual career goals.

The M.S. in Human Anatomy is ideal for students who value the intersection of science, education, and human biology and who seek a transformative, immersive experience in the anatomical sciences.
